Archipelago — Game Guide

A pocket farming kingdom across a chain of islands. Plant crops, harvest them, run them through your processing stations, and ride the market for the best price. This guide is your one-stop reference for every system — prices, recipes, contracts, achievements and the unlock ladder.

How to use this page

Jump to any system in the sidebar. Tables list base values — your actual numbers may be higher thanks to upgrades, mastery bonuses, rarity multipliers and market events. Open the Affinity Upgrades tool for the rare-drop probability deep dive.

Crops

Eight crops, each with its own grow time, sell price and unlock level. Slower crops are more valuable per fruit but ask for serious commitment.

Drop multipliers — strawberry, tomato and blueberry yield multiple fruits per harvest. The sell price column shows the per-fruit price; multiply by the drop count for the full harvest payout.

Crafting Recipes

Four processing stations turn raw crops into far more valuable goods. Each station has its own slot count, cook times and unlock level.

Unlocks at L8. Mid-tier bakes use Wheat Flour from the Mill rather than raw wheat.

Value rule of thumb — bakes and juices sell for roughly 2× the gross input value; cauldron preserves push that to ~2.2×. Higher-rarity ingredients carry their multiplier all the way to the output.

Leveling & XP

Max player level is 910. Levels 1–10 are an onboarding ramp, after which every 10th level (20, 30, 40…) is a "macro" with the chunky unlock rewards. The 9 sub-levels between macros pay small gold/TP/WP drips so you always feel a little drumbeat of progress.

XP per fruit — Wheat 5 XP (drops to 2 at L120, 1 at L410). Carrot 15, Corn 40, Strawberry 40, Melon 100, Pumpkin 150, Tomato 100, Blueberry 50. Multi-drop crops pay XP per fruit, not per harvest. Rarity multiplies XP further (Uncommon ×1.5 up to Dreamlike ×5).

Crop Mastery

Every fruit you harvest also levels up that crop's mastery — separately from your player level. Max mastery is 1000 per crop. Each level grants a small permanent bonus to a stat unique to that crop, and every 100 levels you cross a milestone for bigger rewards.

Visual tiers

The fruit curve — L1–10 fly past (~145 fruits cumulative). L11–100 is a moderate ramp (~80k fruits at L100). After that it gets brutal: ~500 million fruits cumulative at L1000. The first milestone is reachable in a few weeks of moderate play; capping a crop is a long-haul flex.

Watering

Tilled tiles can be wet or dry. Wet soil grows crops faster (base bonus scales with the Water Power upgrade) but expires after a set duration. Watering costs Water Points (WP), which you earn from level rewards, milestones, achievements and the Sunday festival.

Storms — unlock at L160. Long-press the water button to toggle Storm mode, an alternative watering pattern useful for blanket coverage on big islands.

Water bundles are also available as IAPs — pricing is set by the App Store in your local currency. The "Supporter" achievement (1 TP) fires the first time you make any water-bundle purchase.

Market & Contracts

The Market is where you sell crops, take on contracts, and react to events. Prices drift every 10 minutes and contracts pay static rewards locked in at accept — what you see is what you'll get, regardless of how prices move while you work.

Crafting Order skip — once per calendar day you can skip a Crafting Order you don't fancy. The next one rolls "easier" (smaller quantity ranges) until you claim or it expires.

Market events

Unlock at L160. Random events roll once per 10-minute price tick, with a 3-hour cooldown between events. Festivals run every Sunday and override everything else (and the festival itself is available from day one).

Hot crop — unlocks at L110. One crop is selected each day to sell at 3×. Wheat is exempt. Tomorrow's hot crop is shown in the market so you can plan ahead.

Price drift

Outside events, each crop's price multiplier drifts on a 10-minute tick within its own range. Wheat and carrot stay between 0.6× and 2.0×; tomato and blueberry go as wild as 0.4× to 3.0×. Tap any crop row to see its recent price graph.

Reward priority

When effects collide, the highest applies in this order: Festival (2.5×) → active event (crash 0.4× / shortage 5× / glut 0.2×) vs hot crop (3×), whichever is higher → hot crop alone → market drift.

Upgrades

Buy upgrades from the shop with gold. Each tier you unlock comes with its own price band — late-unlock upgrades are objectively expensive, even at level 1. Marquee one-time purchases ★ key visibly change how the game plays.

The main island starts at 4×4 tilled. You expand it via level rewards and the Plot Extension upgrade chain. New islands arrive at L200, L660 and L900.

Plot Extension — three repeatable shop upgrades (L10, L110, L260) each grow your main island further. Land Deed at L910 adds another row per purchase, infinitely — the official endgame sink.

Rare Crops

Every harvested fruit rolls a rarity tier. Higher tiers sell for more, give more XP, and unlock the ability to craft Uncommon/Rare/Mythic/Dreamlike versions of any recipe. Rarity gates by per-crop mastery: a crop won't drop Uncommon variants until you've reached Mastery 50 on it.

Drop rates — base drop chances are very small (Uncommon 5%, Rare 1%, Mythic 0.1%, Dreamlike 0.01%). The four Affinity upgrades bump each tier's per-tile probability per level. Open the Affinity Upgrades explorer to see how investment shapes the final cascade.
